The Party Porch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website yourpartyporch.com and provides mobile party rental services in the greater Houston, Texas area. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you request a booking or contact us, we may collect:

Your name;
Email address;
Mobile phone number;
Event/delivery address and ZIP code;
Booking details (party type, date, time, guest count, add-ons, and notes).

Payment information (such as your card details) is collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use your information

To respond to your booking request and questions;
To schedule, confirm, and deliver your party rental;
To send booking confirmations, deposit/payment links, reminders, and service updates by email and/or text message (SMS);
To process your deposit and payments through Stripe;
To keep records for our business and legal obligations.

SMS / text messaging program

Program: The Party Porch sends transactional text messages to customers about their bookings.

How you opt in: Opting in is entirely optional and voluntary. You opt in by entering your mobile number on our booking form at yourpartyporch.com and checking the SMS consent box (which is unchecked by default) that states you agree to receive booking-related texts. You may leave the box unchecked and still submit a booking request; we will simply contact you by email or phone call instead. Providing consent is not a condition of purchase and is never required to use our services.

Types of messages: booking confirmations, deposit and payment links, scheduling, appointment reminders, and service updates.

Message frequency varies based on your booking activity (typically a few messages per booking).

Opt out / help: Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe; reply HELP for help, or email yourpartyporch@gmail.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not sell your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate our business, and only as needed to provide our services, including:

Stripe - to process deposits and payments;
Google - to manage our calendar and send confirmation emails;
Twilio - to send text (SMS) messages related to your booking.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Data retention

We keep your booking information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You may request that we delete your information by contacting us (subject to any records we must keep by law).

Your choices

Opt out of text messages by replying STOP;
Unsubscribe from any non-essential emails using the link provided or by contacting us;
Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.

Children’s privacy

Our services are booked by adults for events. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Please contact us if you believe a child has provided us information and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
